Great First Day Vikings!
Posted Date: 07/22/26 (06:39 PM)
Thank you for a great start to the school year! As we settle into our routines, we want to share a few important reminders to help every student have a successful year.
Dress Code
Please help us ensure students arrive at school dressed appropriately.
Shirts must fully cover the midriff and cleavage.
Dresses, skirts, and shorts must be at least mid-thigh length.
Clothing with holes or tears that expose skin above mid-thigh is not permitted.
Hats, hoods, bonnets, and other head coverings are not permitted inside the building.
Blankets, slippers, and sunglasses may not be worn during the school day.
Lunch Expectations
Students should remain in their designated lunch areas during lunch. Students may eat in the cafeteria or the courtyard and should not leave these areas without permission.
Phones & Personal Devices
Cell phones should remain off and out of sight during the instructional day. Earbuds and headphones should not be worn unless during instruction directed by a teacher.
Student IDs
We are working to issue student ID badges. Once all IDs have been distributed, we will begin full enforcement of our ID policy.
Schedule Changes
Our Guidance Department is working extremely hard to review schedule change requests. Please allow 2–3 school days for requests to be reviewed.
While we will do our best to accommodate students, not every schedule change can be made due to graduation requirements, course availability, and maintaining balanced class sizes.
Thank you for your patience, partnership, and support as we work together to make this a great year for every Viking!
See you tomorrow! Attendance is KEY!
Sound The Horn!
